    2. What are the similarities and differences between the "direct effects" and "powerful effects" theory?

The direct effects theory is more or less saying that media affects everything and everyone through all kinds of media and delivers the same message just the same. Powerful effects, on the other hand, is a theory stating that the media is dependent on the time it is being presented and the people it is presented to.

There is a clear difference between the two theories because direct effects theory does not have limitations while powerful effects does. Even so, they still have some similarities such as how they both present media as a powerful tool to deliver media message to the masses. In both theories, they do not minimize media's power on the masses but glorifies and shows the strengths of media instead. These are the clear differences and similarities between the two theories regarding the media and the impact it has on the masses.

PS. Sorry I was only able to post this now since I don't have internet at home and I keep forgetting to bring my quiz paper to school whenever I go to the computer labs X.X?
